Welcome to Howling Tours and Safaris. By booking a tour with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These guidelines are designed to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for all our clients. Please read them carefully and contact us if you have any questions.
Reservation Confirmation: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to secure your booking. This deposit will be applied toward the total cost.
Payment Methods: We accept bank transfers, major credit cards, and PayPal. All payments must be made in USD, unless otherwise agreed.
Final Payment: The balance must be paid 60 days prior to the start date. Bookings made within 60 days require full payment at the time of booking.
Late Payments: If the balance is not received on time, we reserve the right to treat the booking as canceled, and the cancellation policy will apply.
By the Client:
More than 60 days before departure: Refund minus the deposit.
30–59 days before departure: 50% refund of the total cost.
Less than 30 days before departure: No refund.
By Howling Tours and Safaris: We may cancel a tour due to insufficient bookings, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or may transfer to another tour.
Refund Process: All refunds are processed within 14 business days after cancellation confirmation.
Client-Initiated Changes: Requests must be made in writing. We will do our best to accommodate changes, subject to availability and additional costs.
Agency-Initiated Changes: We may adjust itineraries due to weather, safety, or operational reasons. Significant changes will be communicated promptly, and suitable alternatives will be offered.
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical expenses, personal liability, and emergency evacuation. Ensuring sufficient coverage is the client’s responsibility.
Health Requirements: Clients must be medically fit to participate. Any health conditions or dietary needs must be disclosed at booking so appropriate arrangements can be made.
Safety Protocols: Clients must follow the safety instructions of our guides at all times. This includes respecting local customs, wildlife, and safe travel guidelines.
Emergency Procedures: Our guides are trained to manage emergencies. Clients must follow their instructions and cooperate fully.
Limitation of Liability: Howling Tours and Safaris is not responsible for injuries, property loss, or damages incurred during the tour. Participation is at the client’s own risk.
Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by natural disasters, strikes, or other events beyond our control. In such cases, alternative arrangements or rescheduling will be offered where possible.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania, and any disputes shall be resolved in Tanzanian courts. By booking with us, you consent to this jurisdiction.
