Your safari begins with a morning pickup from Arusha, followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its iconic baobab trees and massive elephant herds, Tarangire is a photographer’s dream. Game drives here often include sightings of lions, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and unique bird species, making it an excellent introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife.
You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park before continuing your game drive into the afternoon. The varied habitats—from riverbanks to rolling savannahs—provide plenty of opportunities for wildlife sightings. By evening, you’ll transfer to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
